准备在vmwave上模拟lvm的试验, 安装完vmwave后创建了四个1G的硬盘作为lvm的物理介质.

试验环境:

[root@mayp lvm]# uname -a

[root@mayp lvm]# more /etc/redhat-release

新创建的试验磁盘

/dev/sdb、/dev/sdc 、/dev/sdd 、/dev/sde作为lvm的试验磁盘

 

RedHat AS 4提供了一个lvm 平台,我们利用这个平台进行lvm的操作,运行lvm命令可以进入这个lvm操作平台

 

PV创建:

lvm> pvcreate –version

lvm> pvcreate -v /dev/sdb

lvm> pvcreate -v /dev/sdc
    Set up physical volume for "/dev/sdc" with 2096768 available sectors

lvm> pvcreate -v /dev/sdd
    Set up physical volume for "/dev/sdd" with 2096768 available sectors
    Zeroing start of device /dev/sdd

lvm> pvcreate -v /dev/sde
    Set up physical volume for "/dev/sde" with 2096768 available sectors

VG创建:

lvm> vgcreate -v data_oracle /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd /dev/sde

LV创建:

lvm> lvcreate –addtag oracle_data -v –name data_oracle_L_1 –size 3.98G data_oracle
